Lease reporting can be done using our standard reports. In the lines below, it will be explained how to use these standard reports to create postings, and also how you can gather data for your financial notes.

 

The lease reporting is based on these three fundamental reports: Lease changes report, Lease payment report and Lease month end report.

 

By default (leaving the currency dropdown unchosen), all values in columns that are in base currency will be converted into the entity's base currency. By choosing a currency, the numbers in the base currency will be converted into the currency chosen (if there is the FX-rates to do this in Foreign exchange rate table).

 

The remaining reports are meant to summarize the data from the three reports mentioned above. 

 

Running reports

 

You can run all other reports except "Lease summary report YTD" (which can only  be run from the automation) in the view. This means that once you have decided on needed selections for your report, just click "Show" for the system to display the numbers in the page. These can be opened, for example, in excel by clicking "Excel"-icon.

You also have the possibility to save different report views to the automation. Make the needed selections for the report -> Give report a name -> Save. Then, the report will be saved to the automation. From the automation you can then run multiple reports at once to your own email. The old dates saved in the template will be replaced with the dates selected in the automation view (point 2).

 

How to do this:

 

1. First, select the reports that you want to run.

2. Select Start date (2) and End date (3) (for periodical reports) or the Report Date (3) (for month end reports). 

3. Choose the format for the files (4), either 'EXCEL' or 'CSV' from the drop down menu. 

4. Then, click Run and the selected reports will be emailed in one zip file to your email address.
